Main use	Sodium ethylxanthate is the best selective collector in the xanthate series. It can be widely used in the preferential flotation of easy-float or complex non-ferrous metal sulfide ore. It can also be used with sulfiding agent for flotation of copper and lead oxide ore. It can also be used as a hydrometallurgical precipitation agent (such as the purification of zinc electrolyte) and a rubber vulcanization accelerator.
