Function characteristics
Indole butyric acid can be absorbed through the roots, stems, leaves and fruits of plants, but it has little mobility and is not easily oxidized and decomposed by indole acetic acid. Its biological activity lasts for a long time, and its physiological function is similar to that of endogenous plant growth regulator : it stimulates cell division. And tissue differentiation, induce parthenocarpy, and form seedless fruits; also produce adventitious roots, promote cutting roots and so on.Widely used in cutting rooting of trees and flowers: apple, peach, pear, citrus, grape, kiwi, strawberry, poinsettia, dianthus, chrysanthemum, rose, magnolia, rhododendron, tea, metasequoia, poplar, etc.
Stability and activity
1.Stability: stable in neutral and acidic media.
2.Incompatible materials: strong oxidants, alkalis.
3.Avoid contact conditions: open flame, high temperature.
4.Decomposition products: nitrogen oxides, carbon dioxide.
5.Chronic toxicity: No significant difference was found in symptoms, signs and blood CHE activity.
6.Degradability: rapid degradation in soil.
